Blending Classic and Contemporary
Creative Arts & Media Classes introduce students to the beauty of fine art and the excitement of modern media through focused, hands on lessons. Designed for curious and creative kids ages 8 and up, each 5 week session explores a new theme such as painting, photography, animation, or digital video creation inspired by educational YouTube content. Students build confidence, teamwork, and artistic skill in a fun and supportive environment.
Each session combines the core principles of fine art such as composition, light, texture, and storytelling with modern media practices including digital editing, stop motion animation, and visual storytelling. By blending traditional art techniques with today’s creative technology, students learn to transform their ideas into polished projects they can be proud of.
Refinement Through Practice
Our approach emphasizes both technique and imagination. Young creators are guided through exercises in sketching, painting, photography, and short-form film projects, building confidence as they experiment with multiple art forms. The program is structured to encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and the discovery of individual artistic voice.
Celebrating Creativity: Gallery Nights
At the close of each semester term, families are invited to an exclusive Gallery Night. Students showcase their completed works—whether a painted canvas, a photographic series, or a short animated film—in a professionally presented exhibit. These evenings provide a memorable opportunity to celebrate achievement, share creativity, and experience the artistry of the next generation.
A Lasting Impact
Through this program, students not only gain artistic and technical skills but also develop a lifelong appreciation for the role of art and media in shaping culture, storytelling, and community. Every project becomes a stepping stone toward confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Our Creative Arts & Media Classes begin January 19, 2026, at The Railyard, 2125 Loganville Highway, Suite 204, home of Nicole Brooks Portraits.
